Happy weekend. I can jump puddles!

It’s raining, it’s pouring, the old man is snoring.  Snoring which is dead annoying really. I’ll prod him with something pointy shortly, or put a pillow over his face (temporarily, I pretty much promise).  That usually does the job for a good ten minutes.

Jumping in puddles!

As we head into another fabulous weekend (aren’t they all?), here in drought-loving Australia, we are currently experiencing astounding spring rainfall. Not to let a little thing like imminent floods dampen spirits, most people are pretty chuffed.

I can’t even remember when we had rain this good.  Yes, I know, saying “I can’t even remember” when something happened last is a bit of a joke judging by the fact that, just yesterday, I peeled a banana… then peeled another banana thinking to myself, I thought I already did this.

Sleep is for suckers.

Happy weekend everyone!

About gillianloves

I decided there was not enough laughing in my life so I set to and started to design greeting cards in addition to my other design work. I'm happy to make people smile and to show that giving something really good takes as little effort as sending something pretty ordinary. I fully believe that if you can laugh about it someday you may as well laugh about it today. And also that we are just about as happy as we try to be. But you should know, Pollyanna I'm not. Even I might want to slap her after a day or so.

Rowan looked out the window into the front yard on Friday morning and declared, ‘Lake!’ He was right.
