Hello petal

Montage of flower images by Gillianloves

I love a pretty flower, it’s true. Just ask me how many flower pics I have in addition to the ones above… I’ll tell you — bazillions. I even love the weird ones.  Although, come to think of it,  I could give that giant “Amazonian stinky flower” a big miss <David Attenborough, eat your heart out>, you know, the one that smells like rotting meat. Come to think of it there are a few people I could have that one delivered to.

Whether in a vase, in your hair or on the wall, there’s just something uplifting about adding a bit of cheerful spring and summer to your day.

Silk... okay maybe chiffon... flower hairpins in a set of three

Large yellow fabric flower brooch

You Are My Sunshine — Yellow Flower Hair Clip/Brooch

It does seem large fabric brooches are IN right now.  Slap one on (almost) any outfit and voila, instant cheerful effort points. They do seem to be getting bigger and bigger though. Tip: if it’s as big as your head it might be a good thing gone bad.

About gillianloves

I decided there was not enough laughing in my life so I set to and started to design greeting cards in addition to my other design work. I'm happy to make people smile and to show that giving something really good takes as little effort as sending something pretty ordinary. I fully believe that if you can laugh about it someday you may as well laugh about it today. And also that we are just about as happy as we try to be. But you should know, Pollyanna I'm not. Even I might want to slap her after a day or so.
